The slight changes Ford made to the coupe for 2009 further improve the appearance of the 2008 redesign. Good fuel economy ratings, combined with a low base price, make the Focus one of the most frugal commuter vehicles; and since its redesign last year, the Focus ranks as one of the most refined small cars inside, with a smooth ride and very little road noise. Sync, still a Ford exclusive, allows more hands-free control over phones and music devices than any other device available-well worth the option cost.
